Hi Everyone,
We seem to be running into an issue regarding this Friday's field trip. I understand that this happens, but let's get it out in the open.
Already there are three people saying they're not sure they can come--one said she's not coming at all. I wasn't planning on canceling the class this week, this trip was for fun since The Tolerance Center is closed on Fridays...so...should we just have class? It's not like we don't have loads to do. We can have a longer discussion, I can introduce digital storytelling and something else, and you can get your groups together for your collaborative presentation.
If some of you want to go and others can't for logistical reasons, I understand, but then I think we should have our class as usual and then you guys can go on your own on your own time...
Feedback welcome; resolution needed by tomorrow evening.
I'll post this on the Blog too--and you can either reply all on email or post.

I agree with Laura....I'm looking foward to this Friday and think it would be a great experience for all of us.....
I too am looking forward to this Friday BUT 1) work is giving me a hard time and 2)I need the extra cash this month. I don't want to sound cheap but I do need the money lol =[

I am really sorry ladies, but I am a no. With three kids and no one around to help, I feel very uncomfortable being somewhere that I am not used to being. Hope it works out for everybody!
I def wont be able to make it to the city. It sounded like a great idea, but I babysit and the woman I work for is pregnant and due in less than a week with her third child. She needs my help as much as possible, and going to NYC wouldn't work out for me. I have to vote for class on Friday :(
Since we are voting... I'm a no too... only because I nanny and the mom was having a hard time finding someone to take and pick up the kids from school for that day, so if I could I will save her the trouble.
I am a no, Sorry it took so long to answer, i just need to see if my sister has a babysitter for friday.
I would still love to go too..but I'm assuming from all the 'no-goers' that we're just having regular class Friday..??? =(
like everyone else said, i like the idea of going to the city, and i know i'm late about it, but i can't go either, my boss has been giving me a hard time about pretty much everything i do and if i ask to come in late she will flip out
