feedback from last weeks presentations

Nicole's presentation was really great. The critical thinking riddle that she gave to the class really made me think. I seriously felt like I was using a part of my brain that I don't use very often. As horrible as that sounds, it is true. I definity think critical thinking should be part of a students daily life in school. It makes them focus differently than they normally do.
I loved how Andrea went ahead and made a video. It was a very creative thing to do, instead of using a powerpoint. It was really nice to see how the teachers thought, and it was really heartwarming to listen to the teachers fondest memories of their career. It made me remember exactly why I want to teach, and how I can't wait to touch the lives of younger kids. It was also interesting to listen to the younger kids points of views, which they all seemed to agree with the method of involving fun to learning.
Rana's presentation was very useful! She was very informative about the career options we have. I really enjoyed that she added other options to her presentation, such as working as a tutor. It is reality that you may not find your perfect job right after you graduate, and you may not even get a teaching job right now so it is important to know that you have other options available to you.
